Chess clubs for children in the Tokyo area 4

About this list

These clubs say on their own pages that children take part. Chess Center UENO in Kita-Ueno admits minors, and one accompanying guardian comes in free of charge. The space has held a three-day spring chess school for elementary school pupils who are federation members, and its beginners' introduction in April welcomed parents and children playing together.

Yokohama Chess Club holds a monthly children's class in Naka ward next to its Saturday meetings, Chofu Chess Club lets junior high school students and younger play for free at its monthly meeting, and Chiba Chess Club charges a reduced class fee for high school age and younger in Kashiwa and Matsudo. Ages, fees and sign-up rules are on each card.
